VEYA — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected when you use the VEYA mobile application (\"App\", \"VEYA\", \"Service\"). We value your privacy and are designed to run on the least amount of data possible.

1. Our General Approach

VEYA is designed with privacy in mind. You do not need to create a traditional account with a username and password. However, to start a personalized story or complete a purchase, you are required to sign in with your Apple or Google account. We do not receive, access, or store your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information from this sign-in process — we only use it to generate and verify an anonymous identifier tied to your device.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Anonymous Identity (UUID)

When you sign in with Apple or Google, or when you first open the App, an anonymous, random identifier (UUID) is generated on your device.

It does not identify who you are.
It is not associated with your name or personal information.
It is used only to tie your progress and subscription to your device and sign-in session.

2.2 Story Interaction Data

The answers you give, the choices you make, and your story progress within the App are stored to personalize your experience and let you pick up where you left off. This data is linked to your anonymous identity, not your real identity.

2.3 Experience Profile Answers

The App may ask you certain questions in order to offer a narrative experience that suits you better. The answers you provide are processed solely to personalize the experience.

2.4 Usage and Analytics Data

We collect anonymous analytics data to understand and improve the App's performance. For this purpose we use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) services.

4. Payment Information

Subscription purchases are made through the Apple App Store and Google Play. RevenueCat is used for subscription management.

We do not access your credit card information.
RevenueCat associates subscription status with the anonymous identity.
Payment transactions are subject to the policies of the relevant store.

To provide and personalize the story experience

Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

VEYA does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
